City Roofing & Exteriors Reviews

Jacky was very professional and easy to communicate with – text, phone call and in person! We were able to get quotes right away and he was not pushy at all when I said I was still shopping around. The whole process was quick and seamless. I appreciate how the crew was very respectful of my neighbour's property by protecting their side using plywood. My neighbour across the street also mentioned that the crew was careful when removing the old shingles. Will recommend!

I had a great experience with City Roofing Company. They provided excellent service from start to finish. The team was professional, responsive, and communicated clearly throughout the entire process. The work was completed quickly, on schedule, and with high-quality workmanship. I would definitely recommend City Roofing Company to anyone looking for fast, timely, and high-quality roofing services.

Hired them and Cody arrived to help out with our leak in the house. He inspected our roof to let us know where our issues were and went beyond our expectations! Would highly recommend!

Outstanding experience with City Roofing & Exteriors!

After hail damage to our home, we needed all of our fascia, gutters, and downspouts replaced, along with some rerouting and drainage corrections. I contacted 4 different companies, and Jacky stood out immediately. He responded almost right away, and even though he was clearly very busy, he still made time to come by, inspect the property, and thoroughly go over the scope of work with me.

From the first meeting, I could tell Jacky knew exactly what he was doing. His communication throughout the entire process was excellent, quick responses, easy to reach, and always transparent about timelines and any delays (especially weather related). While some other companies couldn’t even make it out for an assessment and one actually wanted to charge just to give an estimate. Jacky was professional, knowledgeable, and fair from the start.

His pricing was fair, scheduling was reasonable, and once weather allowed, his crew completed the entire job in just one day. The workmanship looks fantastic, and they went above and beyond to make sure we were completely satisfied before wrapping up.

What also gave us peace of mind was the 5 year warranty, which shows he truly stands behind his work. The crew was respectful, professional, and left the job site spotless no garbage, no mess, nothing left behind.

We’re extremely happy with the results and would absolutely recommend City Roofing & Exteriors to anyone needing exterior work done. Thanks again, Jacky and team!

Ten years ago, City Roofing replaced my parents’ roof, and the workmanship was outstanding. This year, after a strong windstorm blew several shingles off my own roof, I contacted City Roofing & Exterior again for a full roof replacement.

This time I worked with Jacky, and he was incredibly patient in explaining the whole process and very friendly when discussing pricing options. What impressed me the most was their efficiency and professionalism. Since I was worried about possible water leakage, I asked if the project could be expedited. I signed the contract on Monday, and by Wednesday the crew had already started working on the roof.

The work ethic, speed, and customer service from City Roofing are truly top-notch. Highly recommended!

Jacky is the best! The whole process was super quick and flexible – Jacky made us feel in great hand from the first call through to the follow-up! Definitely 6 stars out of 5!

Fantastic experience with City Roofing & Exteriors! They were professional all the way through installing a commercial grade flat roof for us. Excellent communication all the way through and workmanship looks great. Would recommend to anyone!

Last week, a sudden strong wind caused my old roof to collapse. After a night of 90 km/h winds, debris was everywhere. In a desperate situation, I contacted Cody Fang, the owner of City Roofing & Exteriors. He immediately dispatched a very capable and meticulous employee, Jacky, to assist me, the distraught homeowner. Jacky helped arrange an inspection; his professional and thorough aerial photography clearly demonstrated the severity of the situation. He immediately arranged for staff to carry out leak prevention maintenance and promptly initiated the roof replacement procedure. On the installation day, I must commend their outstanding service. The team was highly professional, meticulous, hardworking, and courteous. They completed the work in just one day. Surprisingly, they also delivered and installed leaf netting over the gutters. The cleanup before they left was excellent. Their pricing was also very reasonable, and the documentation was clear, detailed, and meticulous. This experience left me extremely satisfied and grateful! It was truly worth the money. I highly recommend that if you need roof replacement or exterior repairs and maintenance, you should definitely hire someone to help you. I guarantee you won't be disappointed.

Wow, I’ve got to give a big thumbs-up to Jacky from City Roofing & Exteriors—he’s seriously great! I hired them to fix my Calgary house after that wild August 2024 hailstorm (those golf ball-sized hailstones were no joke!). After checking out a ton of other companies, I was going nuts—some had sky-high quotes, others didn’t even have proper credentials, and loads were too busy to reply. But City Roofing, even with their packed schedule, totally stood out. Jacky was super honest, laid out a clear timeline for me, and bam—from signing the contract to finishing the job, it took about a month and a half, which felt pretty quick!
Jacky was my go-to person, always checking in with that genuine, laid-back vibe—you can tell he’s all about doing it right. His team did an awesome job on my roof and siding, making my house look better than ever. They swapped the whole roof in just one day and replaced the siding completely in two days—didn’t even throw off my daily routine! The attention to detail and their can-do spirit really impressed me. I’m so happy with how it all turned out!
If you’re looking for roofing or exterior pros, don’t waste time—just call City Roofing and ask for Jacky, he’s the guy to go with! Thanks for an amazing job, mate—you and your team are fantastic!

I absolutely love when I find trustworthy people for important work; it's just way less stressful all around! Very reasonable, lightening fast, meticulous cleanup and Jacky spent a lot of time going over different options with me prior to the work. I never felt rushed; he's an extremely personable person that you can count on in stressful situations! Very reliable which isn't common these days! Thank you sooo much Jacky & team! If the hail hits hard again, I will give you call!

I first contacted Jacky from City Roofing back in December during the holidays, he understood the urgency for us, and quickly came to meet us the same day. He sent his team to help with temp repairs, and now that we're in spring, we were able to replace the entire roof and it looks awesome! We had a horrible experience with another contractor who was going to do our roof and siding. We decided to go with City Roofing and Exteriors instead to help us fix what the previous contractor had started but also to finish the rest of the repairs from the hail damage. City Roofing was referred to us by our friend to replace our 20+ year old roof, and what a good recommendation. The quote was timely, clear, complete with upgrade options, and the price was very reasonable. The project was done within a day by a very skilled, efficient, and courteous crew of eight to nine people.
Their management team, who's communicating with us from the initial quoting to post project Q&A, was always friendly and responsive. What impressed us the most is that even after the project was done and the payment made, they still quickly replied to our queries and concerns. In particular, we reported an issue about water spilling over newly installed gutter cover during heavier rains. They responded immediately and came and fixed the problem within a couple of hours.
Special thankyou to Cody and Jacky for their dedication to address customer concerns. They did not mind doing something extra, and providing advice for matters out of the project's scope.
We will definitely refer them to our relatives and friends, and suggest whoever sees our review to engage City Roofing to handle their roof projects.

Special Thank You to City Roofing and Exteriors

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to City Roofing and Exteriors for the recent replacement of our roof. Although we encountered some challenges during the process — including the noticeable difference between the new shingles and the old pine shake, as well as gaps, holes, and areas of stucco that fell off after the work — we truly appreciate the professionalism and care shown in addressing these concerns.

A special thank you to the management team, Ashley and Jacky, for your patience, for listening to our concerns, and for finding effective solutions to resolve each issue. Your commitment to customer satisfaction made all the difference.

We also want to recognize Cody, whose work in repairing the soffit and replacing the wall flashing was done beautifully and with great attention to detail.

We are very pleased with the final outcome and highly recommend City Roofing and Exteriors to anyone considering roof replacement or exterior work. Your dedication and service have been greatly appreciated.

I would highly recommend City Roofing & Exteriors to anyone. Before choosing them I shopped around and researched different Roofers (some contracted the work out to another company). They are WCB accredited, have extra insurance, long standing company with great reviews and their pricing is very fair. The final invoice was exactly what was quoted with no surprises.

I dealt with Mark, who is very professional said and did everything that was going to be happening and answered all my annoying questions. A very stand up guy!

They removed the 50 year old gravel flat roof, and repaired the rotting parts of old roof base. Installed new roofing, soffits, fascia and guttering. So very happy with the end result of our flat roof and looks absolutely perfect! Everything was cleaned up from the property leaving no trace.

City Roofing & Exteriors did most of the repairs on our house from the recent hail damage. From the initial estimate visit, Mark was very helpful and gave a number of options as well as fair costs. The demo and installation was fast as well. 1 day for the roof, 4 days siding (whole house), 1 day windows (demo & installation). Had trouble with the bank/insurance money and Ashley was very helpful and considerate. Overall, I was very satisfied with their work, communication and professionalism.
